This work is part of a long term body of work which examines the history and importance of Bord na Móna in the Derrygreenagh group of bogs surrounding the villages of Rhode, Co. Offaly and Rochfortbridge, Co Westmeath. These interviews and portraits examine the importance of the company in the area in the past and their changing role as they end peat harvesting and transform into a climate solutions company. Michael Yeates worked for Bord na Móna at their peak in the 1970s to 1980s and still lives in former employee housing. Seán Spollen has worked for Bord na Móna since he finished school and is currently witnessing the transformation of the company.
